River Capital Chooses Cotton Court as New Lancashire Base
We’re delighted to welcome River Capital to Cotton Court as they open their new permanent office here in Preston.
The move marks an important milestone for River Capital, a leading North West fund manager, as they expand their presence beyond Liverpool and Manchester into Lancashire. Their decision to base themselves at Cotton Court reinforces both their long-term commitment to the region and our role as a hub for ambitious businesses and organisations in the heart of Preston.
From their new office at Cotton Court, River Capital will be delivering its full range of funding solutions, including the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, the North West Business Growth Loan Fund and the North West Private Equity Fund, to SMEs across Lancashire and the wider North West. This permanent base will make it easier for local businesses to access crucial funding and support for growth.
River Capital’s CEO, Mark Borzomato, said:
“Our new Preston office reflects our long-term commitment to the North West and our belief in the region’s enormous potential. By establishing a permanent presence in Lancashire, we can better serve local businesses and strengthen our relationships with the entrepreneurial community that makes this area a fantastic place to do business.”
With a track record of investing in Lancashire-based companies including Cornerbrook Training Ltd, Designerwear, Barons Furniture, Kids Party Bus and NW1 Theatres, River Capital has already played a role in supporting some of the county’s most exciting businesses. Their new office at Cotton Court will allow them to continue this work and increase their engagement with the local business community.
