At Cotton Court, being part of the local community is something we genuinely care about, so we were proud to take part in this year’s Big PNE Sleep Out at Deepdale Stadium.
This year’s event brought together individuals and businesses from across Preston, all sleeping out for one night to raise awareness and vital funds to tackle homelessness in the city, with a particular focus on the rising number of women experiencing homelessness.
Two members of our team, Grace and Olivia, took part in the sleep out. While it was just one night for us, it was a powerful reminder of the challenges many people face every day.
What stood out most was the sense of community. Despite the cold and uncomfortable conditions, there was a real feeling of people coming together, supporting each other and backing an important cause.
As a team, we’re really pleased to have raised £600, contributing towards an incredible £54,000 raised overall from the event.
The funds will go towards supporting local initiatives that help tackle homelessness in Preston, with a focus on providing practical support and services for women who need it most.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported us, it genuinely makes a difference.
If you’d still like to contribute, donations are still open and every bit helps 👉 https://lnkd.in/e7gvdyPm
