We’re pleased to be hosting Preston Partnership’s next #IntheCity event at Cotton Court on Thursday 24th September, bringing businesses and organisations together for a conversation about the future of Preston City Centre.
There’s a bit of history to this one for us too. Back in February 2024, Cotton Court hosted the relaunch of Preston Partnership, so it’s great to have the Partnership back here and to see how those conversations have continued to develop.
The event is free to attend, but booking is essential.

What’s happening?
The future of high streets is a hot topic, but this event brings the conversation closer to home – what does a thriving city centre look like for Preston?
There’ll be an update from Preston Business Improvement District (BID) followed by a panel discussion looking at some of the key ingredients needed for a successful Preston City Centre and what comes next.
Following the main session, attendees are also invited to an exclusive drop-in consultation with Preston BID, giving you another opportunity to share your views and ideas.
And while you’re here… coffee and cake!
It happens to be a busy day at Cotton Court, as we’re also holding our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 24th September.
Once #IntheCity finishes, attendees are very welcome to stick around, help themselves to coffee and cake and help us raise some money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A good conversation about Preston followed by coffee and cake sounds like a pretty good Thursday morning to us.
#IntheCity: What Makes a Thriving City Centre?
We’re looking forward to having Preston Partnership back at Cotton Court and seeing plenty of familiar and new faces on the day.
